The 7 Success Tips - 7 Virtues to use for Change:
As a result of my medical research on the mind-body influence, it became clear to me that there are seven habits of highly successful individuals. [1] Said differently, what if I told you that the secrets to good health were also the same secrets to a smashingly successful life? In other words, the 7 Success Tips can change your life. You don't buy them. You may already have them! Instead, you need to CHOOSE to enlighten your attitudes. To say it succinctly, you need to CHOOSE to be positive, calm, kind, creative, link your efforts with others, and be self and situationally aware. The Universe provides the 7 Success Tips to each of us, if we use those positive influences in our emotions, attitudes, and behaviors. OK. What are the areas where we need to remain positive, calm, and kind?

The 1ST of the 7 Success Tips includes adequate nutrition, shelter, steadfastness (courage and will-power), and income, for you and your family, which is your security (S). In the words of Ayurvedic (Asian) Medicine, those keys are all related to the ROOT Chakra. They are inherently part of your design, and you were born with those needs, as you grew and 'rooted' yourself to your family and team on the earth.
The 2nd of the 7 Success Tips means your knowledge and analytics are complete, resulting in a better understanding (U) of the problems you face and good decisions will follow, as a result. In modern neuroscience, we refer to this as the Left frontal cortex's higher cognitive functions. This is not just mathematical abilities, but also, the source of our intuition and innovations. The ancients called this the 6th chakra or Ajna - the third eye. In Sanskrit, the third eye, Ajna, means to perceive, command, or 'go beyond wisdom,' which is their version of our intuition and innovation, which play key roles in our success stories. In the lives of many entrepreneurs, it's the innovative discovery that changes everything. This doesn't always require a college education, although it can.
For example, Sophia Amuroso left college, but began a garment re-sale business on E-bay, using her technical skills as a seamstress. Sophia tells her own story in her book, Girl Boss. The business eventually became a 50,000,000+ enterprise. After a time, the business failed and Sophia began a new business advising budding entrepreneurs. Throughout her life, even in adverse circumstances, Ms. Amuroso has shown the ability to innovate. She also demonstrates that when bad things happen that the innovative among us can adapt and still prosper.
The 3rd of the 7 Success Tips means that we recognize and accept our connections to others and our needs to care (C) for them, too. This the 7th chakra in Ayurvedic science, and we look at the right frontal cortex as our source of non-verbal abilities and emotional assessments, which are such an important part of love and caring. It also refers to not just our family and team agape love, but our deeper love for partners, and our spiritual understanding of God's Universe. Anyone who enters the caring professions is influenced by the 3rd Tip. Another outstanding care-giver, a nurse, was told by a surgical colleague that she was 'meant to be a doctor.' She was soon a A-student in the pre-med curriculum. On her way to the college campus, after she had worked all night, she saw an older gentleman, struggling to carry a large bag of groceries on the subway, and he had no seat. Diane offered him space on her seat and took his heavy bag of groceries. As they talked, Dr. Diane discovered she had helped the Dean of the Cleveland Clinic's College of Medicine. In due course, she accepted his invitation to visit the Cleveland Clinic, and she is, today, an outstanding surgeon. Caring for others can change your life.
The 4th of the 7 Success Tips means that we recognize our callings (C) in life, which lead to our vocations and the roles we assume, in our families and society. Many people don't think that they have a calling. Great leaders and artisans, such as artists, masons, carpenters, engineers and machinists are responding to their inner callings. To get ahead, it's important to understand that we all have a calling, and it's never too late to look at this in a positive light. Some of my stories in Law of Attraction are about people in mid-life, who find their callings. Admittedly, our callings are also associated with our spiritual paths in life. Again, this spiritual leaning is a 7th chakra property. Remember, our callings also refer to our heart's calling and therefore our heart's chakra. Our hearts know things about us, non-verbally, about our calling and life's missions. Our heart's also have memory. The heart transplant experience at Stanford University had patients, who 'received' images and memories from their donors. This may be a shock to most readers, but it's true. I discuss this finding in my book, and why it happens. You have been given far more powers than you realized through your heart. The ancients said that heart (4th) energy chakra held the earth chakras (1-3) to the intellectual chakras (5-7). And today, we often hear that people love others with all of their hearts. This tells us, clearly, that the sense of commitment, which is often felt, has something to do with this organ's ability to hold and remember non-verbal memories of events in our lives. Learn more in my book.
The 5th of the 7 Success Tips means we want to be Emotionally Intelligent (E) & have Humor, so that others look forward to seeing us & working well with us. This refers to our second chakra, which is our relationships chakra that helps us work well with others. To find Success, we need to work well together, so that we aren't isolated and unawares. It's also true that studies, which predict future income, based on IQ or EQ, show that the Emotional Intelligence scores are far more predictive of future incomes. Given its importance, how do we use EQ to help everyone? My book gives many examples of how to be emotionally intelligent, and Dr. Beatrice Chestnut says that today's leaders must be emotionally intelligent and able to show compassion and empathy. She also uses a mathematical approach to emotions, using numerology to analyze personality types, according to birth date.

The 6th of the 7 Success Tips says we must be Skilled (S) in our roles, which also helps our self-esteem, and when combined with the other Tips helps us to get things done. There's no question about it. Work skills, including the caring of our children and families, give us a 6-pack of self-confidence and self-esteem, which is our 3rd chakra! A fellow dog-owner and a friend of mine is a machinist, who was taught on the job. He had arrived in this country from across the ocean, and took this job, where he quickly progressed. He was helping to machine parts for pumps that were critical components of nuclear power plants. Over time, his reliability became obvious. Many times, he said, other machinists, might make a small mistake, which would cause an entire run to be thrown away. Within a matter of months, the owner of this business gave him the option to set his own hours, because his output was so reliable. Such skilled machinists and mechanics are in high demand, today. This is another good example of how you can get an excellent paycheck, if you identify a skill that you will love to do, which can be taught on the job, and you are, in turn, loyal to the company that trained you.

Finally, the 7th of the 7 Success Tips reminds us to Always be Self and Situationally Aware, so that we know the Truth PRIOR to the Decisions We Make and the Actions We Take. In Asian thought, this is associated with the Throat Chakra, because we must 'speak' the truth, if we want true success, which includes, love, health, and joy. These elements depend so much on our pursuit of the truth. In our own era, the attempt by some to bury the truth and speak negatively has led to so much destructiveness. The spread of misinformation is NOT part of the path to success. I include many examples in my book of how we must return to choosing the truth, when we make decisions. If it's your job to manage others, it's so important to lead with the truth, instead of falsehoods.

Here's the KEY POINT:

When we add these 7 Success Tips, together, in specific patterns, we create what experts call a positive-thinking Growth Mindset [2]. When we apply a Growth Mindset to the LOA, we create an atmosphere, which prepares us for personal and group success stories, as we ASK, BELIEVE, RECEIVE, then ACT to bring about collaborative changes that are needed.

In truth, Success Experts do tell you to work through your failures, using a Growth Mindset. Unfortunately, not everyone recognizes the 7 Success Tips, which GIVE US a Growth Mindset. Growth Mindsets help the process of ASKING, BELIEVING, RECEIVING, then CHANGING, even in the face of great difficulties. Toward that end, I invented the 14-Step BUILD- UP-BRIDGES, which keeps us using the 7 Success Tips, when we try to create change, instead of falling into the MISSTEPS. Get a copy of my book in paper (to get it, click here) or get a Kindle Copy (click here) to see BUILD-UP-BRIDGES in action.
In fact, it has taken hundreds of hours of research to evolve what is a functional definition, BUILD-UP-BRIDGES, for a Growth Mindset. I prefer a straight-forward approach, and my research found that BUILD-UP-BRIDGES helps you to use the 7 Success Tips, in problem-solving. In summary, the 7 Success Tips are:

(1) S: Security for family and teams;
(2) U: Understanding and knowledge for decisions that you make;
(3) C: Caring/Connecting to others, as part of our spiritual paths and family paths.
(4) C: knowing your Callings (what you want to do in life) and focusing your help
(5) E: Emotional Intelligence and Humor
(6) S: Self-Esteem & good Work Skills; and
(7) S: Self/Situational Awareness to find the Truth.
In my research [1], I showed that it isn't just the individual Success Tips, but their interactions that gave them great power. I called this interaction, The Geometry of Emotions, which was my lead article's name in a peer-reviewed medical journal [1]. I explain in my book how important this interaction is! In fact, I can tell you all day long the 7 Success Tips, and you'll say 'I knew that was important.' However, until you see the positive interactions, you can't understand the Geometry of Emotions. Those patterns of support make the difference in health and success [1].
Why I wrote the Law of Attraction Success Tips:
The more I examined The Geometry of Emotions, then it became obvious that with this discovery not only could my model show the effects of patient management, but also how we can optimize the creation of our own success stories. So, I've written Law of Attraction Success Tips: 7 Keys to our Decision-Making and Success Stories to explain its power. My book is available in Kindle Press [buy here] or Paperback [buy it here].

Why do Growth Mindset individuals with the 7 Success Tips have such an advantage? To be honest, it's the way Growth Mindset persons react to setbacks. The failures that block their paths are just temporary setbacks. Growth Mindset individuals use the 7 Success Tips to find a work around that resolves their current problems. Soon, they achieve their current success goals. Then, they make even more goals, and they never quit. It's rinse and repeat time for these folks, and they power through life, because they combine the 7 Success Tips into Power Paths.

What's an example of a Power Path? The Pos. Alpha Mind person, combines excellent knowledge, decision making, and innovations with work skills, self-esteem, humor, and emotional intelligence to bring their ideas to life, which benefits the security of their teams and families. So, that's just one of the 7 Power Paths. There are SIX more! I give countless examples of their applications. This is how you really learn the importance of each Success Tip.

Guess what? I've studied Growth Mindset individuals, and to a person, they combine the 7 Success Tips into Power Paths. You know some of them! They are men and women, who run businesses and give back to their communities, right in your own city or town! If there are 7 Success Tips, are there some things that you DON'T want to do, as well?
Believe me, there are also 7 Missteps that you want to avoid. Because they can keep you from ever succeeding! They can lead you into a fixed mindset, where you just can't grow. Here are the 7 Missteps:
(1) M: Mismanagement of families or teams from scarcity/doubt/denial/anxiety/fear
(2) I: Irrational, indecisive, disagreeable, condescending, angry, valueless decisions
(3) SS: So Selfish, delusional, prideful, detached, melancholy, disconnected from others.
(4) T: tyrannically indifferent, uncaring, and unfocused on the needs of others.
(5) E: Emotional imbalance
(6) P: Poor Self-Esteem & poor work skills
(7) S: Self and Situation Unaware; Unable to link efforts with others to find the Truth.

I think you see, where we are heading, now! That's right. It's decision time! Do you want to make a change in your company, your family, your team, or yourself? If that answer is yes, then I think you should consider reading my book and its many observations. The bibliography is invaluable to you! No one, including me, can guarantee that you will reach your goals, because of reading any book, with the exception of the Bible. However, there is a growing body of research, which says that to find success you must use a positive Growth Mindset [2]. My book, Law of Attraction Success Tips teaches BUILD-UP-BRIDGES to help you grow that growth mindset, and USE it, when obstacles and conflicts block your path.
So YOU want to CHANGE YOUR LIFE or YOUR ORGANIZATION?
f you want change in your life, because you don't feel that you are finding the love, health, wealth, peace and joy that are part of success, then you want to keep reading what I have to say. From my research, I learned something about success, and I've written a book about what I discovered, as I said.
Was I looking for the secrets to success in my medical research? I really wasn't. Like most doctors, I was trying to help patients. In my case, I was looking for new approaches to treat pain without using medications. My choice was to use medical acupuncture in a research clinic. I discovered that their attitudes were strongly influencing their outcomes.
What amazed me was the positive effect that medical acupuncture had on these research patients. A few of them told me that I had changed their lives. Honestly, in my entire 40+ year experience in treating patients, I had thousands of patients, who said thank you to me. The words 'you've changed my life' was said to me only once in those 40 years. From that one case, I even won an award (The Lamb Fellowship), when I graduated from medical school, because I was said and 5 other classmates were said to exemplify the ideals of the doctor-patient relationship.

Now, something profound was happening to the patient's attitudes, when I used medical acupuncture. They were, in fact, getting well, which they described as a unique experience. I was told more than once that I had changed my patient's life This is from a group of 100+ research patients. This was an incredible find, which I never expected to hear from such a small group. We studied their situations in detail. I went and looked at my data. Why had this happened? Why had this worked so well?

I discovered that there was, in fact, a mathematical relationship of their emotions, using a pentagon (a geometric figure) which related their emotions and physical findings. For example, chronic anger and irritable bowel syndrome are related! The Chinese had shown a similar finding, using the pentagon, but I was employing Chakra Acupuncture for this study and writing words that any high school student could understand (at least that was my aim). From the chakra relationships, I understood those patients far better, and it was obvious that what I had found could be easily understood by everyone.
Here's something I've seldom mentioned, but it's true. My article on the Geometry of Emotions was the lead article in the Medical Acupuncture Journal. Shortly before it was released, I got the same e-mail everyone else got that a high impact article was about to be printed. That was in August of 2018, and the article showed that I had created a geometric map of emotions, which was nothing short of a revelation (at least to me) of why people behave as they do and it related their emotions to their illnesses! I had also brought Western and Eastern Medicine, together. Trust me; I'm not bragging. I knew that I would spend the next 10 years explaining what I had found. You see, I agree with the Buddhists. If we don't do something to resolve the earth's gigantic inequalities, then very few of us will survive. I saw an organized cause and effect diagram that I thought was an invaluable understanding of an individual's motives. I thought it would help us to understand, why scarcity is so rampant and damaging. If you can follow a straight line, then you can use it to follow my reasoning on human needs and behaviors. As I studied further, I found that there were power paths. A Power Path combines 3 Success Tips, together.
Both the Chinese and Dr. Carl Jung had found something like what I call a Power Path. The scientific name for these paths are personality archetypes, and in my case, the key elements were the 7 Success Tips! Except my Power Paths were much more repeatable and predictable. Each Success Tip has positive personality elements (such as calm and creative thinking), and there is also a negative side, too. This is negative thinking, such as anger and envy. A person can actively CHOOSE to be positive, and that is the secret of success! I was so convinced that the 7 Success Tips were so important to everyone that I wrote Law of Attraction Success Tips about them. How do I know their real? Cause very successful people use them, over and over again, and books that they have written about themselves show this to be true and reflects my model! My book starts with a profile of 14 such remarkable people, who do use a positive Growth Mindset. It's not hard to understand. Each case is a valuable lesson. And I can diagram their Power Paths with ease! They are easy to understand and are truthful.
There's also a 14-step program, BUILD-UP-BRIDGES, which can help you to use the 7 Success Tips in your life to help achieve your success. This guides you to preserve the healthy interactions you have with others by the steps of BUILD-UP-BRIDGES. Indeed, it isn't magic. It's a common sense approach to obstacles. BUILD-UP-BRIDGES combines the 7 Success Tips in patterns designed to resolve the obstacles that you've met.
However, the handy acronym helps you to look more completely at your conflict situations. I'm NOT saying this is a guarantee. I'm telling you that this is an organizer and it's also a motivator to stay POSITIVE, calm, creative, and situationally aware. Why do people use organizers? It helps them to remain efficient, organized, and thorough. This is what highly successful people have always done, even though they might not be aware of the science behind their actions and success stories.
So, my books help you to stay organized, positive, and thorough, as you search for your win-win stories. At the same time, I tell you about other authors, who have studied the science of success and its related elements. This includes Daniel Goleman, William Ury, Joseph Campbell, Cloke and Goldsmith, Wallace D. Wattles, Dean Graziosi, Rhonda Byrne, MaryAnn Williamson, Napoleon Hill, Tai Lopez, Joel Osteen, Joe and Michelle Levey, Eckard Tolle, John Wooden, Donna Eden, Vicki Monroe and Bob Olsen, Mark Anastasi, Harriet Lerner, Daphne Rose Kingma, Susan Shearouse, Beatrice Chestnut, M and A Marston, Jeff Walker, Sophia Amuroso, Suzy Evans, Diane Hamilton, H Scott Peck, Cooperrider and Whitney, Andrew Weil, John Gray, Malcolm Gladwell, Rick Warren, James Dines, Thomas Stanley and William Danko, Richard Bartlett, John Cross, Eileen McCusick, Caroline Myss, C Norman Shealy, Barbara Brenan, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Deepak Chopra, Tim Ferris, Jeff Hayes, and many others.

About my writing style:
The great strength of my approach is that I give you example after example of real people, who have changed their lives for the better, using the 7 Success Tips. In every case, they made a plan, applied the 7 Success Tips and their Power Paths, and changed their lives. For example, if they had to learn new knowledge and work skills, they did. This helped them to make wise decisions. One of my heroes learned a new trade and changed his diet. He worked for another company for a year, then started his own. Years ago, he already had no mortgage, and owned 6 vehicles without a penny of debt. And no, he did not go to college. His new trade took less than a year, and some companies teach it 'on the job,' in turn for staying with them for a period of time. What was his trade? He became a newly minted heat and vent tech with a certificate to work with natural gas. They can't find enough of these techs or car mechanics or nurses, either, in today's work world. Here's an anecdote. I met the Vice-President of a commercial refrigeration company on Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. He told me that the monthly salary of his techs exceeds his own, because he can't find enough of them.
How would I come upon all these anecdotes and situations. It's my curiosity. You want a curious person to be working for you. How many times in your life have you said that you wished that you had thought of a simple solution to a common problem? This can lead to a business that changes a person's life. Well, curious people find examples of these kinds of people. I'm naturally curious. You see, I was a published NIH-funded medical researcher at different points in my 41-year career as a doctor.
What this means is that I was a trained scientific observer. On this topic, I did my own research, and I've read oodles of books and papers related to this topic of success and conflict resolution (the two are related), which involved thousands of hours of my time. I have given you my references as a guide in my book. I've looked at all of this material and distilled it down to the 7 Success Tips and other important observations that can help (but not guarantee) that you find the love, health, wealth, peace and joy, which you seek. I'm teaching you how to be curious! I'm trying to tell you that I'm not here to tell you that this is easy or guaranteed. However, there is a repeating pattern of how individuals win and help others to win, too. I'm acting as a coach, here. A coach can point out the key parts of a good tennis serve. In this case, I'm a coach, who is trying to help you see the key points in problem-solving for success stories and resolutions of conflict that have repeatedly worked for others.
Let me be clear. I observed the Success Tips and Power Paths in others, who had become smashing successes. My response is that if they can do it, then so can we. So, I am sharing the wealth of the truths that I have observed. As many of you know, much of what good coaches teach has been observed in people, who had a 'natural' perfect serve or golf shot. This is how the rest of us are taught. What I've done, here, is to analyze what great success stories have in common. I've done this in the hope that my words will speak to you, and that your decisions will be the correct ones. Indeed, that solemn responsibility is yours to make!
Truly, this is very much like watching great golfers and analyzing how they hold and swing the club. So, my books show you that Success Stories share common patterns, which are the 7 Power Paths in real people. So, you get the benefit of my work, which honestly, is worth hundreds of dollars for the time spent, at a minimum, analyzing the success stories of others. You won't pay for that cost, as you've noticed, above. Finally, what I teach on finding success and resolving conflict, I've put together in an acronym, BUILD-UP-BRIDGES, which puts the 7 Success Tips and their power paths to work for you.
When an E-book costs $9.99 for 390 pages that are 8.5" x 11", if printed in 14-pt type, then it's a smashing bargain! ($21.95 for the paperback). So, click the appropriate image button and discover the 7 Power Paths that so many successful people hold in common. And don't forget the 7 Missteps and their Negative Paths that you want to avoid, also!

That's right! I give extensive examples of what NOT to do, as well as what to do, as you seek success. In the end, it's your life decisions, of course. The rest of the website describes different features of my life and interests, such as hiking with Sammy and woodland's photography and some aerial work that I took when I was an active pilot.

By the way, if you want to study this material and learn about some of individual challenges that I've met, you can also read Power Paths to Success: 7 Paths Bring Love, Health, Joy & Wealth into Your Life. This item is 475 pages, but it does talk a lot about my own experiences. So, stand forewarned that I'll talk about my hikes and my bicycle trip across the country, too. Not everyone wants those details, but for those that are interested. I've written it all down! You'll learn how I was chased by a grizzly bear on my bicycle in Yellowstone, and how, on a hot day (+100F) in Pasco, Washington, I almost ended my cross country bike trip! There are also stories from my aviation adventures, where I could have lost my life - but I read the FAA bulletin, first. I will also share why I just had to make that bicycle trip, if I truly wanted to be a doctor! You can get the Kindle copy for $9.99 (click here for Kindle) or the paperback copy, with a click, too (click here for paperback).

The different menu items of the site are worth a look, especially the books and security items, I've found. It's like an annotated bibliography. Click an individual cover image, and you'll go right to its page in Amazon! How convenient! What a great way to shop for interesting books without the struggle of having to find them, first, for friends or for yourself. And of course, they are all related to the topics of health & success! Finally, if you represent a team, especially a health care organization, I am willing to look at the organizational issues your team is trying to change, if you'd like advice.
